The Issue: Criticism of the Supreme Court ruling in Trump v.US to uphold presidential immunity.The Supreme Court’s ruling that presidents are immune from prosecution for official acts made while in office sent shockwaves throughout the Democratic Party (“Liberals bemoan ‘key to dictatorship,’ ” July 2).President Biden even came out and blasted it as unconstitutional and undemocratic, as it would give former President Donald Trump open season on committing crimes while in office.
