A.J. Browns message for Saquon Barkley after viral Hard Knocks Giants clip

It appears Eagles wide receiver A.J.Brown has been watching “Hard Knocks,” which seems to have given him a bit more motivation going into the 2024 season.

Brown took to X in a now-deleted post to show his support for his new teammate, Saquon Barkley, after intimate details of the negotiations between the running back and his former Giants team were exposed in the recent premiere of HBO’s “Hard Knocks.”“The Saquon video fired me up and it wasn’t even about me,” Brown wrote in the deleted post, as captured by @brgridiron on X.“I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure you get yours fam!” Giants general manager Joe Schoen was seen multiple times debating what to do with Barkley as he entered free agency.

While discussing team building further with his closest front office executives, Schoen said a big reason why they wouldn’t splurge on Barkley was the contract of quarterback Daniel Jones.“We’ve got to upgrade the offensive line, and you’re paying the guy $40 million — it’s not to hand the ball off to a $12 million back,” Schoen said to director of player personnel Tim McDonnell, who questioned the team’s offensive identity without Barkley....
