An Australian OnlyFans and TikTok star was rushed to the hospital with appendicitis after attempting a “water fast from Reddit.”Mikaela Testa — who recently came under fire for complaining she was “dying to go home” because her European vacation was too hard — announced her diagnosis to her 935,000 Instagram followers and warned them against fasting.“The nurse just told me I can’t actually eat anything at all and before I came I had already fasted for 24 hours,” she explained in her Instagram story.“Think of this next time you want to attempt a water fast from Reddit.“I’m starving and all I want is some chicken tendies.”The typically bikini-clad influencer included a picture of herself sitting in a hospital bed holding a white cup with yellow liquid in it.“My O calories dinner,” she added alongside the image. Another picture showed Testa with an intravenous drip in her arm.Her health battle comes after the internet star was slammed last year over a viral TikTok in which she told those who couldn’t be in Europe for the northern summer not to be sad about it.“It is not all it’s cracked up to be,” she said from Capri, Italy.“Influencers come to these locations and make them look so amazing and so pretty and so photogenic and so amazing, but half of it’s edited and filtered and just not real,” she said.“It takes the entire day to walk to a location you want to go.”Testa said she had hardly seen anyone mentioning the negatives of traveling Europe.“It’s been three months.We’re just dying to go home at this point,” she continued.“We’re just hating.
