Boy, 8, killed, parents stabbed by knife-wielding family member who cops shot dead in NYC nightmare

An 8-year-old boy was killed and his parents were stabbed in their Queens home Thursday by a knife-wielding family member, police said.The tragedy unfolded in an apartment inside 147-25 94th Ave.in Jamaica, NYPD Chief John Chell said.The suspect, who is believed to be the dead boy’s step-brother, was fatally shot by police when he refused to drop a knife from his father’s neck, according to Chell.The investigation is ongoing.This is a developing story.
