A botched robbery attempt at Zara clothing store in Soho left a security guard injured and patrons running for cover, witnesses said.Police on Saturday were sorting out the mayhem that broke out at 503 Broadway shortly after 3 p.m., authorities said.Cops responding to reports of shots fired at the store encountered a man — believed to be a store security guard — who had been “struck in the head with a bottle,” an NYPD spokesman said.“It’s a little unclear at this time” what exactly happened, the spokesman said.“Zara in Soho just had an active shooter and literally everybody ran.The scariest thing I have ever seen,” posted Jasmine C.
