Another TV season is in the books.With last night’s Emmy Awards, the 2023-2024 TV season has officially come to a close, and by the end of the night, FX came out on top with 36 total wins.

Nominated for 25 total awards, the FX series took home 18 total, including big wins for lead actress Anna Sawai, lead actor Hiroyuki Sanada, and the night’s biggest prize, Outstanding Drama Series.The FX original series, which also streams on Hulu, may return for a second season as Sanada has reportedly signed a contract to return to the series.“The Bear” went into the evening as the second-most nominated show with 23 and emerged with the second-most wins.

Among the 11 categories won are three of the four acting in a comedy awards: Outstanding Lead Actor (Jeremy Allen White, for the second Emmys in a row), Outstanding Supporting Actress (Liza Colón-Zayas), and Outstanding Supporting Actor (Ebon Moss-Bachrach, also winning his second Emmy).The FX on Hulu original won awards for its acclaimed second season last night, meaning this summer’s third season will be recognized at next year’s Emmys.
