Video of Julio Urias swinging at wife in domestic violence incident emerges
Video of former Dodgers pitcher Julio Urias’ domestic violence incident has emerged and it shows him taking a swing at his wife.Urias, who was arrested last September on suspicion of felony domestic violence, can be seen charging at his wife outside BMO Stadium in Los Angeles after an LAFC game, video obtained by the Los Angeles Times shows.The video from Sept.3, 2023 then shows the 28-year-old shoving his wife into a fence before the two were separated, but Urias then threw a left hand at his wife before he was restrained.A witness recorded the video, which was released by the California Highway Patrol.In April, Urias was charged with five misdemeanors: one count of spousal battery, one count of false imprisonment, one count of assault and two counts of domestic battery involving a dating relationship.He pleaded no contest in May to a misdemeanor domestic battery charge and was placed on 36 months probation while the other four charges were dismissed.
