Caitlin Clarks boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, has one-word response to her WNBA Rookie of the Year win

Connor McCaffery summed up his reaction to girlfriend Caitlin Clark’s Associated Press Rookie of the Year honor in just a single word.“Duh,” the newly appointed Butler assistant coach posted Sunday in a celebratory Instagram Story in response to the news.Clark, the No.1 overall pick by Indiana in the 2024 WNBA Draft, was unanimously named the league’s top rookie, joining teammate Aliyah Boston as the only members of the Fever to receive the prestigious nod, according to the release.Boston, the first pick in last year’s WNBA draft, was the AP Rookie of the Year in 2023.In addition to the Rookie of the Year honor, Clark was named to the All-WNBA First Team and the All-Rookie Team.A standout at Iowa, Clark’s dominance at the collegiate level transitioned to the pros, where she averaged 19.2 points per game, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists this season.The 22-year-old guard also started the Fever’s 40 regular-season contests.
