Man stabbed to death, another seriously injured after argument turns violent in NYC: police

A man was found dead and another was seriously injured in an alleged stabbing on the Upper East Side after an argument escalated out of control on Sunday afternoon, according to police and sources.Police responded to a call reporting an assault at 232 East 95th St.

at around 1:30 p.m.and found the bloody scene.

The unidentified deceased man had suffered trauma to the chest and neck, cops said.He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other man involved, an unidentified 27-year-old, was still present at the scene and sustained lacerations throughout his body, according to police.He was transported to New York Cornell Medical Hospital in serious but stable condition.

Two knives were recovered by police.It is unclear who instigated the fight.

The Office of Chief Medical Examiner has yet to determine the victim’s cause of death.No arrest have been made and the investigation is still ongoing.
