Exclusive | Bruce Carrington out to pass measuring stick test to take next step in career

Bruce Carrington already knows what will be going through everyone’s minds. “Shu Shu” (12-0, 8 KOs) returns to The Theater at Madison Square Garden on Friday night in a featherweight bout on the Mikaela Mayer-Sandy Ryan card (10:30 p.m.Eastern, ESPN) against Sulaiman Segawa. Carrington, a 27-year-old Brooklyn native, believes Segawa (17-4-1, 6 KOs) is his biggest, and more important, step-up in competition so far in his ascending career.
