Female driver rescued from Porsche SUV left dangling off three-story garage

A Florida woman had to be rescued from her Porsche SUV after she nearly drove the high-end wheels off the third floor of a parking garage, leaving her dangling up in the air.The scary mishap unfolded Monday, when the unidentified driver got the wheel on the third level of the parking structure on San Remo Avenue in Coral Gables — and accidentally stepped on the gas, according to a report by KNOP-TV News.

“It looked like the lady pressed the accelerator by mistake and went through the wall,” Coral Gables Fire Rescue Chief Xavier Jones told the outlet.“She got very lucky that when the car went through the wall, it landed in a tree,” the chief said.“We are able to rescue her in 20 to 30 minutes.”Footage from the scene shows the white vehicle precariously clinging to the garage, with the rear wheels clutching the crumbled wall — with only a tree keeping the SUV from plummeting to the ground.

Rescue workers hoisted ropes to pull the woman to safety and to a local hospital, where she was listed in stable condition, according to reports.A worker at a neighborhood doctor’s office described the commotion.

“I basically heard a car peeling out,” Katiana Polanco told WTVJ-TV.“Like they hit the gas by accident or trying to go really fast.

I heard a really hard crash, so I thought it was a car crash between two cars.”...
