Dolphins have no plans to add QB despite Tua Tagovailoa, Skylar Thompson injuries

It’s reportedly status quo at quarterback for the Dolphins as Tua Tagovailoa recovers from his latest concussion.ESPN reported that the team “doesn’t seem likely at this point” to add another signal-caller, with one source telling him that Miami is not “into it at this time.”The Dolphins will be without Tagovailoa, who suffered the fourth known concussion of his football career during Week 2, for at least three more weeks, if not longer. Last week, head coach Mike McDaniel started backup Skylar Thompson during the team’s 24-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Thompson left the game in the third quarter with a rib injury and is questionable to start this week, leaving questions as to whether he, Tim Boyle or Tyler Huntley will start against the Titans on Monday and beyond. On Thursday, McDaniel was coy about his team’s Week 4 quarterback situation. “I’ll let it play out,” McDaniel told reporters.“The quarterbacks who will be participating [in Thursday’s practice] will get action and great opportunity.
