Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor defends Dave Grohl after cheating and baby bombshell: Hes not perfect

Corey Taylor has Dave Grohl’s back.The Slipknot singer, 50, defended the Foo Fighters frontman, 55, after the latter revealed he cheated on his wife and recently welcomed a baby out of wedlock.Talking about the scandal on the “Your Mom’s House” podcast, Taylor chose to show Grohl some grace.“It’s so messy, 100 percent messy,” he admitted to hosts Tom Segura and Christina Pazsitzky.

“I know Dave Grohl.He is one of the nicest people on the planet.”He also confessed “mistakes were made” and suggested that Grohl tried to “get ahead” of the mystery woman by releasing a statement about the baby before she could reveal the news.“Obviously, it’s very irresponsible.

I know there are a lot of disappointed fans out there because of the image he’s developed,” Taylor continued.“But I have to remind people that we’re not perfect.

He was one of the last people to really have that image.”He further explained that Grohl’s cheating “does not mean he’s not a nice person, because I happen to know him as a person.It means he’s got f–king issues and he f–ked up.

He’s not perfect.It is going to be very difficult for his family.

I’m not gonna make any assumptions about why or how it happened.I’m sober, but at the same time, I’ve gone through my own s–t.”Grohl and his wife, Jordyn Blum, have been married since 2003.
