McDonalds McFlurry spoon is different for a reason and some people are just finding out why

McFlurry lovers are just now discovering the purpose of the infamous spoon.McDonald’s iconic frozen treat has been a staple on the menu since 1998, and the weird looking spoon is often a topic of conversation.Last week, a confused customer shared a photo of the spoon in a McFlurry to X, formerly Twitter, asking the question, “is this a straw or some type of eating device?”Fans of the Golden Arches were happy to fill the user in on the secrets of the iconic spoon.“It’s quite literally a drill bit spoon. They attach that spoon to a machine through that hole and it stirs the mcflurry to get a perfect mix,” someone explained.
