A heartbreaking photo shows newborn twin boys tragically killed alongside their mother when a tree crashed through their trailer home in rural Georgia during Hurricane Helene — before key family members even got to meet them.The month-old boys, Khyzier and Khazmir Williams — who are the youngest known victims of the catastrophic hurricane — were hunkering down with their 27-year-old mom, Kobe Williams, in Thomson last week when they were crushed, their grief-stricken family have revealed.The twins’ bodies were discovered lying underneath their mother when relatives dodged fallen trees and downed power lines to check on the trio just hours after the hurricane tore through and ravaged their town.Their grandfather Obie Williams, who had yet to meet the babies, said his daughter had promised to hunker down in the bathroom when she knew it wasn’t possible to evacuate with such young babies.

“It’s devastating,” the grandfather said, adding: “Now I’ll never get to meet my grandsons.”“I’d seen pictures when they were born and pictures every day since, but I hadn’t made it out there yet to meet them.”The tragic photo of the boys, who were born Aug.20, emerged as the hurricane’s death toll climbed to 215 as of Friday across Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia and the Carolinas.Among the other young victims are a 7-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy who were killed in Washington County, Georgia.Meanwhile, Williams said their family is currently waiting for the bodies of the twins and their mom to be released by the coroner and for roads to be cleared before they arrange the funerals.
