The long-awaited reunion between Laura and Lucky will allegedly play out through the week.The Daytime Emmy winner, 62, has starred as the legendary character since 1977 and appeared in over 1,700 episodes of “General Hospital.” Her character, Laura, quickly became a fan favorite and is best known for her romance with Luke Spencer (played by Anthony Geary).The super couple eventually went their separate ways but not before welcoming two TV children together during their marriage: son Lucky and daughter Lulu.In June, it was revealed that Jackson, 42, would return to “General Hospital” to play Lucky for what Entertainment Weekly described as a long stint.

He made his soap debut on the series in 1993 at 11 years old.The five-time Daytime Emmy winner’s character originally left Port Charles in 1999 but returned to the show in 2009 and 2015.

In August, Jackson teased what “General Hospital” fans can expect from Lucky’s return.“In 2010 when I came back, he was a cop and he was trying to create an identity for himself, and in some ways in opposition to his father,” he explained of his character.“I don’t exactly know where he is now because we’re just kind of beginning but it just feels like he’s become a little bit more like his father as time has gone on.”Jackson first exited the show in 1999.
