Odell Beckham Jr. set for Dolphins debut after being taken off PUP list

The Dolphins finally got some positive injury news for a change with Odell Beckham Jr.ready to make his debut.Miami elevated the former Giants receiver off the physically unable to perform list, and he is expected to play against the Patriots in Foxborough on Sunday, according to multiple reports. Beckham, 31, signed with Miami in May but missed the first four games of the season as he recovered from an offseason procedure on his knee.He did not fully practice with the team until this week and did not have any setbacks.Quarterback Tim Boyle was re-signed to the practice squad to make room for Beckham on the Dolphins 53-man roster. Beckham should add another reliable threat to the passing attack behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, but the Dolphins are still dealing with issues at quarterback.Tyler Huntley is again set to start against the Patriots this week.Regular starter Tua Tagovailoa still has two weeks left on injury reserve.

Skyler Thompson, who injured his ribs in Week 3, will back up Huntely.   Huntley went 14-for-22 passing for 96 yards and a rushing touchdown in Miami’s 31-12 home loss to the Titans that saw them get booed.Beckham had 27 catches for 305 yards and five touchdowns in eight games for the Ravens last season. The Dolphins will be the fifth team the three-time All-Pro has played for after being drafted by the Giants 12th overall in 2014 — playing five seasons in New York — and winning a Super Bowl with the Rams during the 2021 season....
