Jets run-game struggles reach new low in growing concern

LONDON — The Jets passing game will get most of the blame for Sunday’s 23-17 loss to the Vikings after three Aaron Rodgers interceptions, but the team’s lack of a running game continues to be worrisome. The Jets got nothing going on the ground … again.They had just 36 rushing yards on 14 carries.

The Jets believed they would have a strong rushing attack this season but it has yet to materialize. “The run game is clearly not good enough,” Jets coach Robert Saleh said.“You know, felt like coming out of training camp it was going to be a strength for us and it obviously hasn’t been that way.” The Jets moved away from the running game early Sunday.

Part of that could be that they fell behind early, but it also feels like they have no faith they can get anything going on the ground.They dropped back 57 times and only ran 14 times — not what you would call a balanced offense. Breece Hall had another game in which he struggled mightily.

He had 23 yards on nine carries with a long of 10 yards. “It is what it is,” Hall said.“At the end of the day, I just want to win.
