Wendys to celebrate SpongeBobs 25th birthday with Krabby Patty Kollab meal

Are you ready, kids? Wendy’s is releasing a special “Krabby Patty Kollab” meal for a limited time — in honor of the 25th anniversary of the “SpongeBob SquarePants” TV show.The meal includes a “Krabby Patty Kollab” cheeseburger, a “Pineapple Under the Sea” Frosty and french fries.

The special cheeseburger — named after the fictional burger concocted by SpongeBob in the show — is served with an additional slice of cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion and a “top-secret” Krabby Kollab sauce on a toasted bun.The new Frosty option — inspired by Spongebob’s fruity home — is made with vanilla and a swirl of pineapple-and-mango-flavored puree.

The fast-food chain will offer the meals in stores and on the app in the US and Canada beginning Oct.8.
