Kamala Harris interview blitz: Letters to the Editor Oct. 10, 2024

The Issue: The vice president’s late-campaign flurry of softball interviews on podcasts and TV.In her recent “60 Minutes” interview with Bill Whitaker, Vice President Kamala Harris refused to own the Biden administration’s failure to secure our southern border, a massive failure that has led to the current immigration crises (“Harris’ Blatant Blather,” Editorial, Oct.9).The border policy and virtually every other policy set forth by President Biden and Harris has left the country in shambles — and now she seeks to become commander in chief.

If elected, she would finish the job of destroying the country and put the world at risk of breaking into a third world war.There has never been a more urgent need for true leadership in this country, and Harris is clearly not the person for the job.I hope voters recognize the existential threat we face and elect someone who can correct the course we’re on.Thomas UrbanWantaghNot sure which Americans were watching this interview — but Harris sounded poor.
