Dave Portnoys Taylor Swift ghosted story takes unexpected twist

Don’t worry Swifties, Dave Portnoy wasn’t ghosted by Taylor Swift. The Barstool Sports founder declared on the “BFFs” podcast that Swift’s team had been ghosting him ahead of her upcoming shows of her Eras Tour on Oct.18, Oct.

19 and Oct.20 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. However, just minutes after Barstool Sports posted the clip on its social media accounts, Portnoy took to X to backtrack and say he hadn’t been ghosted. Portnoy has been a staunch supporter of Swift and her music, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he planned on attending the Miami dates of her tour and thought he’d be getting an invitation from her team.“By the way, Taylor Swift coming up in Miami, I thought I was getting an invite from her PR agency,” he said on the podcast.

“They’ve totally ghosted me.I get zero respect from the Swiftie team for what I do.” When co-host Brianna LaPaglia asked why that was, Portnoy speculated that “they don’t like me.” However, even without getting any sort of free passes, Portnoy wasn’t going to let that stop him from going to the shows. “I don’t wanna sound like yuppy but I’m just gonna buy tickets, fine,” Portnoy said.

“I have no problem with that but it’s going to be hard for me just being general pop, which I’m gonna be.Fine, whatever, no big deal, get f–king swarmed in the jacket.”But the tune from Portnoy quickly changed when he wrote on X that Swift’s team had not ghosted him and “I cant wait for Miami!”He didn’t go on to explain what exactly that meant. Swift’s Miami leg of her tour was not expected to be impacted by the destruction left behind in the wake of Hurricane Milton, which struck the Gulf Coast side of Florida as a Category 3 hurricane. The pop icon donated $5 million to Feeding America in support of relief efforts from the two hurricanes that hit the Southern US....
