Saudi princes superyacht once owned by Trump and featured in Bond movie crashes into dock

A $91 million superyacht used in a Bond movie and once owned by Donald Trump — who called it Trump Princess — has been damaged by crashing into the side of a dock in Tunisia.The luxury boat, now owned by Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal and with its own onboard hospital, was wedged up onto the dock of the Marina of Bizerte in Tunisia after the crash Friday, The Sun reported.

The 282-foot Kingdom 5-KR “failed to stop in time and clipped the breakwater on the starboard quarter and failed to stop,” a witness told The Yacht Report.The bow crashed into the stone dock, causing extensive damage to the bottom of the ship or its keel, its body, also known as the hull.It also damaged the docking quay.

The anchor was also dropped before the ship hit the wharf, causing the boat’s nose to scrape down the port, the witness said.Before the ship was owned by the Saudi Prince it belonged to the Sultan of Brunei and then Trump, who had named it Trump Princess in 1988.

The ship was built in 1980 for $100 million at the request of Saudi billionaire and arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi, who named the boat Nabila, the Yacht Report said.The giant boat was also featured in the 1983 James Bond film “Never Say Never Again” as the headquarters for Bond villain Maximillian Largo.The superyacht can accommodate 22 guests and 31 crew members.

It has 11 staterooms, six gigantic refrigerators, five decks, a massive pool, a movie theater, a hair salon, and a hospital — complete with an operating room.The boat can cruise with a maximum speed of 20 knots and also features its own disco and library.

An investigation is currently underway to determine what caused the incident....
