Shark even claims it offers “the best debris cleaning of any cordless vacuum.” Plus, it’s unique Dirt Detect feature features auto-adjust suction power that changes based on the size of your mess. While Dyson is a strong competitor with its Fluffy Optic cleaner head designed to pick up microscopic dust and an interestingly designed hair screw tool that sucks up long hair without tangling, it’s significantly costlier — by over $300 MSRP, to be exact.And for what Shark offers, we’re left scratching our heads as to why there is a jump in price. “The Dirt Detect feature is like having a vacuum that thinks for you, adjusting power based on how dirty your floor is,” Wertz said.
