Delta to halt flights between NYCs JFK and Tel Aviv amid escalating Middle East tensions

Delta extended its pause of flights between New York’s John F.Kennedy International Airport and Tel Aviv through March 31 because of the ongoing turmoil in the Middle East, the airline said Tuesday.“Delta is continuously monitoring the evolving security environment and assessing our operations based on security guidance and intelligence reports and will communicate any updates as needed,” the carrier said in a statement.“As always, the safety of customers and crew remains paramount.
