Jaw-dropping video shows barking dog on top of Great Pyramid of Giza in surreal scene

This good boy is top dog.A man paragliding over Egypt’s Great Pyramid of Giza on Monday spotted the jaw-dropping sight of a barking dog atop the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the World.

The footage of the Egyptian landmark — built more than 4,500 years ago — shows Marshall Mosher soaring in the desert sky in a paramotor when he zooms in on the top of the pyramid to find a dog casually having his day.“A dog climbed all the way up the Great Pyramid of Giza!” Mosher wrote in amazement, with his clip going viral on Instagram.

Many on the platform joked that Mosher and his friends had come across Anubis — the Egyptian god of the underworld who is often portrayed with a canine head — with the public dubbing the hound “Anubis Pup.” Others, however, were worried about the dog’s safety, but Mosher dispelled their worries in a follow-up post that showed the dog chilling on the ground.Mosher and the now internet-famous pooch, who was with another four-legged companion, stood in front of the pyramids as the daredevil explained that the dogs live in the area and often climb up and down the 454-foot Great Pyramid of Giza.

Mosher, a self-described adventure athlete, invited others to come out to next year’s paragliding event over the pyramids to greet the King Pupankhumuns who have found a home in the Great Pyramid of Giza and the adjacent Great Pyramid of Khafre.“Paragliding over the Great Pyramids of Giza today was a surreal reminder that no dream is too big,” Mosher wrote.
