Exclusive | Montana Jordan teases the third Big Bang Theory spinoff show: Its a mystery to me too

It’s not Sheldon anymore. The third spinoff show for “The Big Bang Theory” is here, putting Sheldon’s brother, Georgie (Montana Jordan), in the driver’s seat. “I think I’ve met them all, when we started ‘Young Sheldon,’” Jordan, 21, told The Post, referring to the cast of “The Big Bang Theory.” “Every single one of them was down to earth and nice people.Jim Parsons was mostly hands on with [‘Young Sheldon’ star Iain Armitage] and making sure he understood that role.

But they kind of let the country kid do what he wants,” he said, referring to himself. Premiering Thursday, Oct 17 (8 p.m.), “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage,” is a prequel to “The Big Bang Theory,” following Georgie and his wife, Mandy (Emily Osment), as they raise their baby and try to navigate life as young parents. The  original “The Big Bang Theory” drew in 20 million viewers when it was on the air from 2007 to 2019.That show followed Sheldon (Jim Parsons) a Texas-born former child prodigy turned physicist.

Mayim Bialik and Kaley Cuoco co-starred.Its first spinoff, “Young Sheldon” aired from 2017-2024 and explored Sheldon’s childhood – and Georgie and Mandy both appeared in that show as side characters.

In the original “Big Bang Theory,” an older version of Georgie is played by Jerry O’Connell, and he runs a chain of tire stores.It’s been mentioned that he’s been married and divorced several times. “We all know the storyline is that Georgie gets married a couple times, but whether it’s with Mandy the next couple times, we don’t know.
