A mum has left the internet well and truly traumatized today after sharing a clip of her preparing a meal for her kids.The stay-at-home mum of two, who posts under the username @thepolishmum, described the slow-cooker meal as “yummy”— but viewers weren’t so sure.She starts off the now-viral video, which has 17 million views and counting, by cutting up a giant sausage with kitchen scissors.“Easy dinner for my kids as a busy stay-at-home-mum,” the text over the video reads.She then prepares the “cajun sausage and chicken pasta” by frying the sliced sausage in a pan until it’s burnt.The mum then tosses the charcoaled chunks into the slow cooker, along with some chicken breasts that have been lightly dusted with something called ‘Slap your mama’ seasoning.Then comes a generous amount of heavy cream, chicken broth, a massive dollop of seeded mustard, a knob of butter and garlic and onion powder.She then pops the timer on for three hours, and the meal, which consists entirely of shades of beige and brown, begins to bubble away.Morning Report delivers the latest news, videos, photos and more.
