Aaron Rodgers addresses incriminating video after nose-picking controversy

Aaron Rodgers swears it’s not what it looks like.The Jets quarterback responded to the sight of his fingers entering his nose and then going to his mouth while on the sidelines Sunday night during his interview on the “Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesday.“It’s a tough look to try and defend because that video is a little incriminating.

It looks like it,” Rodgers said.“I’ve actually never eaten my boogers, and it’s something I’m very proud of.” Rodgers insisted that this never happened, not even as a child.The incident occurred as NBC panned to Rodgers in the final minute of the embarrassing 37-15 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night.

Rodgers claims he was using smelling salts as a means of keeping his focus during the game.That focus was mostly lost during the second half, as the Jets gave up the final 31 points after jumping off to a 15-6 lead.Rodgers was also seen bringing a small water bottle to his nose that was believed to be smelling salts.Rodgers threw two interceptions during the game, although one of them was clearly the fault of star receiver Garrett Wilson as the ball hit him directly in the numbers but popped up into the air and was caught by Steelers cornerback Beanie Bishop Jr.Bishop nearly returned it for a touchdown, but he was tackled at the one-yard line.
