Exclusive | Tren de Aragua member trafficked 15-year-old NYC runaway while free on attempted-slay rap: cops

A suspected Tren de Aragua gang member was freed without bail on a Big Apple attempted murder rap — and just nabbed sex-trafficking a 15-year-old New York City runaway, authorities say.Enyerbert Blanco, 27, of Venezuela had first been caught illegally crossing into Texas in May 2023 and ordered removed — but for some reason ended up in a holding center in Elizabeth, NJ, and freed a month later, officials and law-enforcement sources say.He went on to open fire at a man in The Bronx, racking up an attempted murder rap and then released without bail, authorities said.Blanco was then picked up for drugs in Miami, Fla., fewer than two weeks ago — and freed again, officials said.Last week, he was nabbed again — this time for allegedly sex-trafficking minor.

He is finally being held by Florida authorities.“This is a really bad guy,” Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said at a press conference Monday.“It’s good to get him off the streets.“How broken this system is,” the sheriff fumed.“Here’s a guy deported.

Now he’s illegally back in the country for a second time.So obviously whatever this vetting system is at the border ain’t working.

The border’s not closed.Illegals are still coming in.“How can he be out on bond for attempted murder out of New York, he gets arrested in Miami for drug trafficking, and he’s out walking around.

That’s unconscionable,” Bradshaw said.“I can tell you one thing, folks. That female and this guy that was involved in this, their butts are staying in my jail.“They’re not coming out.” Stay up on the very latest with Evening Update.
