The Utah mother accused of murdering her sleeping husband claimed they had drunken sex the night before the alleged murder, and that he ended up attacking her in a rage over an affair.Jennifer Gledhill, 41, told investigators she and her estranged husband Matthew Johnson, 51, met up to talk on September 20 and began “drinking whiskey” together, before the night turned into a boozed-up romp, according to a warrant from her October 2 arrest, revealed Friday ahead of her first court appearance Monday.“Jennifer informed [the officer] due to the intoxication from the whiskey she had a hard time recalling the events that took place after her and Matthew had sex,” the warrant read, noting that Gledhill showed police bruising she had across her arms, hands, face, and legs, according to Fox13.What Gledhill said she did remember was that her husband “became upset” over something, and that he ended up “on top of her with a closed fist striking her several times.”Four days after that she filed a domestic violence report and then reported her husband missing — but prosecutors allege he’d been dead by her hand and buried in a shallow grave for days by then.
