Could Melissa McCarthy star in Broadways Oh, Mary! and play about Mary Todd Lincoln?

This year Broadway’s Lyceum Theatre resurrected a laugh-off version of President Abraham Lincoln’s long-suffering and well-oiled wife Mary Todd Lincoln. The short dark comedy, “Oh, Mary!,” was and is a huge hit. One, because the created character, a drunk, is hilarious.

Two, because she acts as the beard for her theatrically gay husband Abe — and three because she was played by a he.Comedian Cole Escola created this short playlet and it is he who enacts she.Fall-down funny because he plays her as a be-dribbled boozer.

The mullahs now know a secure guesthouse in Tehran can’t even protect them.”Continuing filmdom’s necessity for horror, blood, killings and stabbings comes Amy Adams’ new comedy. She stars.

She produced. It’s titled “Nightbitch.” And ...
