An Arizona high school teacher has been arrested for allegedly posting online threats against Donald Trump Jr.and conservative activist Charlie Kirk, according to police.Daniel Ashpes, a 24-year-old social studies teacher from Tempe, made online threats against the Republicans on Oct.

17 while they were in the East Valley for a political rally, according to the Tempe Police Department.Police were tipped off about “threatening messages” sent in response to an automated mass-messaging system asking for an RSVP for an event for Turning Point USA — a conservative nonprofit founded by Kirk — at a Tempe hotel, cops said.Ashpes was arrested the same day and allegedly admitted to sending the messages in an interview with detectives.He was booked into the Tempe City Jail and is facing three counts of threatening to cause physical injury to another person and one charge of using a phone to threaten or intimidate.The Post has reached out to the Tempe Police Department for additional information.Ashpes is a teacher at Desert Vista High School in Ahwatukee, a Tempe Union High School District spokesperson confirmed to AZ Family.He has since been placed on administrative leave, officials said.“While we cannot comment on the specifics of the situation, we are aware that Tempe PD has filed charges related to alleged online threats TUHSD does not tolerate or condone any form of threats or harassment made by employees or students,” the spokesperson said....
