Why “Queer Eye” this chic LA residence when a former star of that show has already done it himself?Bobby Berk, the interior designer who starred on the Netflix reboot of “Queer Eye” for its first eight seasons, listed his estate in the Hollywood Hills for $2.75 million last week, TMZ first reported.He bought it in 2019, not long after the show premiered on the streaming service — and quickly became buzzy among fans — for $1.37 million, according to Mansion Global.The dwelling offers nearly 3,000 square feet of living space, plus four bedrooms and three bathrooms.Similar to his work on the show, Berk overhauled the interiors of this residence.

Mansion Global adds the work included an expansion of the primary bedroom by closing in a patio.The kitchen, for its part, has handsome marble counters– while the dining room has a wet bar.The Spanish-style home dates to 1979, but Berk’s work thoroughly modernized the space.

Marketing images show white interiors with largely neutral furnishings, save for tasteful pops of color.There are also custom fireplaces, exposed-beam ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with light.What’s more, the work even extended outside by adding different levels of gathering spaces.
