Jets Week 9 report card: Give Jeff Ulbrich credit

Grading the Jets’ 21-13 win over the Texans at MetLife Stadium on Thursday: This grade should be divided in two for the two different halves.The Jets were abysmal in the first half, managing just 69 yards and no points.

But they came alive in the second half and scored three touchdowns and ended the game with 293 yards.QB Aaron Rodgers (22 of 32, 211 yards, 3 TDs, 118.1 QB rating) found a rhythm in the second half and began connecting with Garrett Wilson (9 catches, 90 yards, 2 TDs) and Davante Adams (7 catches, 91 yards, 1 TD).

Wilson had one of the greatest catches you’ll ever see in the back of the end zone.The offensive line gave up two sacks and opened up holes for them to run for 100 yards. Grade: C+ The pass rush was all over Texans QB C.J.

Stroud, sacking him eight times.Stroud (11 of 30, 191 yards, 59.2 QB rating) had a tough time all night.

He never looked comfortable.RB Joe Mixon (24 rushes, 106 yards, 1 TD) had a lot of success early, but then the Jets began tackling better.

DT Quinnen Williams (1 ½ sacks, 4 QB hits) had his second big game and seems to be returning to the player we are used to watching.The Jets did not look perfect, but they ended allowing only 13 points. Grade: B Two terrible penalties on special teams didn’t cost the Jets much, but they were sloppy.
