A woman had a fright-tanning experience with fake bronzer — and it left her looking green.Mississippi marketing director Sara Trent had fake tanner on her face when she accidentally fell asleep, leaving it to develop on her skin for more than eight hours, as opposed ton the recommended one hour.Trent, 30, woke up horrified, realizing her visage had turned a deep, dark green color that wouldn’t scrub away.“I was like, oh my God,” Trent told Caters.
“I ran to the mirror, and I saw what it looked like.I was about to have a panic attack because it doesn’t normally look like that.”The marketing director, who hails from the town of Tupelo, took videos of the unfortunate outcome prior to taking a shower and shared them to TikTok, where they started to quickly go viral.“I wanted the memory for the future of never falling asleep with a self-tanner again!” she stated.Luckily, the tan did eventually wash off, and her skin has now returned to a normal shade.“It did shower off for the most part,” she shared.
