President-elect Donald Trump — fresh off his victory early this morning — is expected to spend the day with his team down in West Palm Beach, strategizing about what comes next after his historic comeback. The Trump transition team has already been at work for months.
But the decisive victory against Vice President Kamala Harris will launch the team into “unveiling” what they’ve been up to with other key members on Wednesday, Trump adviser Brian Hughes told The Post. The majority of the transition work is expected to take place in West Palm Beach, as the Trump compound is set up there around his Mar-a-Lago residence, Hughes added. The transition team is expected to make some announcements in the coming days about what they’ve been up to in the past months — and will continue to work, filling thousands of recruit spots in the future Trump admin.
Those overseeing the process include co-chairs CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald Howard Lutnick and Linda McMahon, who previously led Trump’s Small Business Administration. The team includes his sons Eric and Don Jr., Robert F Kennedy Jr., Tulsi Gabbard, and his running mate Sen.
