Doug Johnson, a veteran Emmy Award-winning former anchor with WABC News in New York, is listing his East Hampton home for $11.8 million — down from its $13 million asking price in September.Johnson shared the home, at 38 Darby Lane, with his late wife Liz Robbins, a Washington power lobbyist who launched the country’s first woman-owned lobbying firm in 1977.

She was known for her work with non-profits, children’s health care and poverty reduction, and for her high-profile clients like the Whitney Museum.The couple bought the home in 2007 for $4.2 million, a spokesperson told Gimme Shelter.

It was formerly owned by bestselling author Gail Sheehy. Johnson and Robbins had owned a residence in the Hamptons for decades and were known for entertaining high-profile guests, including then-First Couple Bill and Hillary Clinton — along with Nancy Pelosi, Paul McCartney, Jimmy Buffett, Billy Joel, Jon Bon Jovi and Alec Baldwin.The listing was first reported in 27 East.The traditional shingled-style home comes with seven bedrooms, 5½ bathrooms and sits on 1.95 acres.
