Dolphins vs. Rams MNF player props, odds: Matthew Stafford, Raheem Mostert, Puka Nacua

There is no better way to get in on the action this Monday than by diving into the player prop market ahead of “Monday Night Football.”Monday’s matchup between the Miami Dolphins and the Los Angeles Rams is loaded with stars.Let’s analyze which players will or will not have success. On paper, the Rams are a pass-heavy offense throwing the ball at a 59 percent clip this season. However, when they get into the red zone, it’s a different story. Quarterback Matthew Stafford averages 4.9 red zone passing attempts per game, while star running back Kyren Williams averages 4.8 red-zone rush attempts per game. From what we’ve seen, the matchup typically dictates whether the Rams throw or pass in the red zone, and against the Miami Dolphins, it would be wise to keep the ball on the ground. Miami’s secondary has been stout, ranking seventh in opponent completion percentage and sixth in passing yards allowed.

It has also given up the fewest passing touchdowns in the NFL this year. Lastly, Stafford has thrown two touchdowns or less in six of eight games this season, so getting this under at plus-money is a tremendous value. Much has been made about De’Von Achane’s surge with Tua Tagovailoa back under center, but Raheem Mostert still has a clear role in the offense.Over the last two weeks, Achane has had 22 rush attempts, while Mostert has recorded 19 attempts. Mostert has shown that he is still explosive out of the backfield, recording a rush of 11 yards or more in four of his five games this season. He will have a great opportunity for success tonight as the Los Angeles Rams rank 25th in rushing yards per game allowed. The great thing about this prop is that we only need one big play.Mostert hasn’t been highly efficient overall, averaging just 3.8 yards per carry, but he’s shown he can still break off big runs and should do so in this plus matchup. Our last player prop is a sneaky one.
