Massive explosion at Kentucky plant collapses part of factory, leaves several injured and missing

A food plant exploded Tuesday afternoon in Kentucky — sending a massive boom across the area and possibly trapping people inside.The blast happened just before 3 p.m., collapsing a part of Givaudan Sense Colour, a natural food coloring plant in the Clifton neighborhood of Louisville, according to WDRB.WLKY reported that people are missing and trapped inside the building.Fire officials said at least two people were taken to the hospital.The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said it’s responding to the “critical incident.”This is a developing story.
