Kate Middletons Christmas carol concert confirmed to return, poignant theme revealed

Kate Middleton is feeling the festive cheer.The Princess of Wales, 42, is set to host her annual Christmas carol concert next month after what’s been a difficult year for her and the royals, the palace has confirmed.With a new theme each year, December’s service will focus on the importance of love and empathy, and will reflect on “how much we need each other, especially in the most difficult times of our lives.”Indeed, the beloved royal was dealt a tough start to the year that saw her undergo abdominal surgery in January, which was closely followed by a cancer diagnosis in March.Her father-in-law, King Charles III, was also diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.Middleton, who recently announced she was cancer free after completing chemotherapy, will lead the televised festive event at Westminster Abbey on December 6.Her involvement in this year’s event was previously thrust into doubt given her health woes.Taking to X Wednesday, the princess shared a video teasing the upcoming concert.“Something exciting is coming…” she wrote on her and Prince William’s joint social media account.“The invitations are fresh off the press for this year’s Together At Christmas Carol Service, which will be returning to Westminster Abbey on Friday 6 December.”“We can’t wait for you to join us too!
