Deion Sanders would step in to stop Shedeur from landing with certain teams in NFL draft: Gonna be Dad

Deion Sanders will be willing to do what he can to get his son Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders and star wide reliever/defensive back Travis Hunter drafted by the right NFL teams. Both players are expected to be high picks in the 2025 NFL Draft, and when the topic was broached during a Tuesday interview on FS1’s “Speak,” Sanders admitted that he’d be willing to do some behind-the-scenes work if needed. “Yeah, but I’m not gonna do it publicly.I’d do it privately,” Sanders told the hosts about helping his son with teams in the draft.

“Someone that has had success in the past handling quarterbacks or someone in an organization understands what they’re doing, not just throwing you out there amongst the wolves if you don’t have the support and the infrastructure of the team.“Forget the line, he’s played with lines that haven’t been great but he’s been able to do his thing, but just the infrastructure of the team, the direction of where we’re going.”Sanders is in his second season at the helm of the Colorado football program and has been one of the most talked about coaches in college football since his tenure there began.Colorado takes on Utah (4-5) on Saturday af...
