Livvy Dunne raised the stakes in an offer the Pirates made to one lucky person who finds a one-of-one Paul Skenes MLB Debut Patch trading card.The National League franchise made an offer potentially worth millions Friday on social media, including seats behind home plate for 30 years — and then Skenes’ girlfriend added the opportunity for that collector to sit with her in a suite for a game.
“Let’s raise the stakes… the person who find the card can sit with me at a Pirates game in my suite,” the fifth year LSU gymnast wrote on her social media feeds, including the Pirates’ proposed trade.Dunne — a fifth year gymnast at LSU and a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model — is a regular at Pirates home games.
The card, autographed by Skenes, features a patch worn on the sleeve of his jersey from his major league debut that was taken off his jersey at the end of the game and then inserted into the card.It’s a part of the 2024 Topps Chrome Update set that launched earlier this week, featuring rookies and second-year players with MLB Debut Patch cards.
“To the lucky person who finds this card… We’d love to bring this card home to PNC Park to share with all Buccos fans,” the Pirates account wrote on X, including the team’s proposed offer.It includes two Pirates season tickets behind home plate for the next 30 years; a softball game for 30 at PNC Park plus coaching from Pirates Alumni, and a VIP spring training experience.That spring training experience includes a private tour of Pirates City and LECOM Park, meet and greet with Skenes, two Skenes autographed jerseys, batting practice and warm up with the team, along with other unique experiences at Pirates City and LECOM Park.Dunne upping the ante was a power move.
