Once the home to his grandmother, The Queen Mother, he has lived resplendently on the property since 2003 when he signed a 75-year lease from the Crown Estate, paying a little over $300 weekly rent, with the proviso that he maintains the property, per The Times.Though Charles wanted Andrew out of Royal Lodge, he offered him a new home — a less grand residence that would be more in line with the King’s vision of a “slimmed-down” monarchy.That residence was Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s former UK residence, Frogmore Cottage.
