Prince Andrew has become “increasingly clingy” toward his daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, after being financially cut off by his brother King Charles, according to a report. The disgraced Duke of York, 64, was poised to leave the Royal Lodge after Charles refused to continue financially carrying his brother’s weight. However, it sensationally emerged last week that Andrew had found a mystery financial backer at the eleventh hour — allowing him and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, to remain at the royal digs. The ordeal has left the monarch, 76, “fed up” — and prompted him to start removing valuables from the property due to maintenance and security concerns.“Andrew is like a lost puppy these days, constantly leaning on Sarah and their daughters for emotional support,” a palace source told InTouch.“He’s become increasingly clingy, reaching out to them every chance he gets, almost as if they’re his only lifeline.”Andrew’s daughters, who both have families of their own, are two of the very few members still giving the scandal-scarred royal the time of day.“While Sarah and the girls are sympathetic to a point, they also have their own lives to manage,” the insider said, adding that Beatrice and Eugenie have felt a “strain” following their father’s PR nightmare.Andrew has resided at the sprawling property, located on the grounds of Windsor Castle, since 2004. The king has been desperately trying to move his brother out of the 31-room property and into the smaller Frogmore Cottage — but he refused. The latter property has been sitting empty since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle handed over the keys in 2023.Morning Report delivers the latest news, videos, photos and more.
