Elle Duncan throws shade at snowflakes after brutal Daniel Jones takedown

Elle Duncan doesn’t seem to be backing down from anything she said about Daniel Jones.In fact, she seems to be calling out her critics.

After Duncan, a “SportsCenter” host, called out Daniel Jones’ farewell speech during one of her  “Taking the Elle” segments this week — before she doubled down on her thoughts on Friday’s “First Take” — she has faced a barrage of criticism, including from Pat Hanlon, the Giants’ senior vice president of communications.However, on Saturday morning, Duncan called out her fiercest opponents on the issue.

“It started flurrying this morning after a surprising amount of snow on my drive yesterday.I guess you could say I can’t seem to escape all these snowflakes..” she wrote on X.The ESPN host even added a picture of herself drinking from a mug on the set of “First Take,” almost as if to say she was sipping the tea.Jones, before his release on Friday by the Giants, gave remarks to the media that now essentially serve as his final speech with Big Blue.Duncan, during her “Taking the Elle” segment, said the now-former Giants quarterback could have shortened his words to the media.

“You guys think he had this saved in his notes since like 2020? In all seriousness, DJ, I could have saved you like 90 seconds,” Duncan said.“A rewrite: I’m sorry you paid me $108 million for one playoff win.

And I look forward to reviving my career as Brock Purdy’s backup.The end.”On Thursday, Hanlon was among those who didn’t feel Duncan’s words about Jones were fair, and he voiced his displeasure with her on X, without naming her.

“That an ESPN personality would mock Daniel Jones’ statement today is mind boggling,” he wrote on X.“Given what has happened at that company over past few years, tone deaf.”On Friday, Jones’ last day with the Giants, Duncan said on “First Take” she would not be changing her opinions and that she firmly believed in her criticisms of the signal-caller.
