Alleged teen Slutty Gang member shot by cops is son of high-ranking New York police official

An alleged gang member who was shot by police in the Bronx is the son of a high-ranking Westchester County police official, The Post has learned.Chase Lackard, a reputed member of the “Slutty Gang,” was wounded in Clason Point shortly after 3 p.m.Friday when cops responded to a dispute on White Plains Road involving a firearm and saw the 19-year-old wielding a gun, police said. Lackard’s mom is Mount Vernon Police Deputy Commissioner Jennifer Lackard, sources told The Post.

She has held that position since 2020.Jennifer Lackard is also a graduate of the NYPD’s Citizen Police Academy and spent time as a representative on a local community board in the Bronx, according to a Mount Vernon Facebook post.

She didn’t immediately return calls seeking comment.It’s not the first time her son has been involved in gunplay.Lackard — who was 17 at the time — was also shot in the chest on the BX5 bus in Soundview last year after fighting with three other youngsters, the sources said.Lackard allegedly flashed gang signs at the boys, aged 10 and 12, as he started to get off the bus in January 2023, according to sources.

He then asked them for their gang affiliation — and then allegedly tried to drag one of them off the bus, the sources said.Two shots were fired and one struck Lackard’s chest.Lackard was taken to Jacobi Hospital following Friday’s shooting for treatment.

He remains in stable condition, cops said....
