Passengers flee in terror after Russian Sukhoi Superjet 100 airliner bursts into flames on runway

Terrifying video shows passengers fleeing a Russian jetliner that burst into flames on the runway in Turkey on Sunday.The Russian-made Sukhoi Superjet 100 passenger plane from Azimuth Airlines caught fire on Sunday after landing at the Antalya Airport on the Mediterranean coast.About 79 passengers were forced to evacuate the plane as first responders rushed to put out the flames, according to the Turkey Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.Harrowing footage from the runways shows the plane engulfed in fire and smoke as passengers run away from the inferno with their bags in hand.Some passengers could also be seen riding down the plane’s inflatable slide to exit the aircraft as quickly as they could. The fire appeared to be coming from the plane’s left engine, with firefighters unleashing multiple hoses to try and put out the flames. This is a developing story.Check back for more information....
