Megyn Kelly giggles while reading ads after drinking martinis with podcast guests

Megyn Kelly shared a reel of outtakes during her latest podcast episode that showed her trying to record advertisements for her show’s sponsors after drinking a martini — and dissolving into fits of giggling.The conservative podcast host said her team had served up martinis while she filmed her Friday episode with Anna Khachiyan and Dasha Nekrasova, co-hosts of the “Red Scare” podcast.The trio discussed Jaguar’s “woke” new advertisement and Mika Brzezinski’s racy photoshoot with Joe Scarborough in 2012.Shortly thereafter, however, Kelly struggled with her pre-recordings, during which she gives a “shout out” to the show’s sponsors.

In one clip, she is unable to make it through the phrase “durable weave” without laughing, hanging her head down and covering her face.“In my defense Steve, durable weave, every time I say it, it makes me laugh,” Kelly said, seemingly speaking to one of her podcast producers.“Like, what is that?”In another outtake, Kelly started to read a not-so-sunny advertisement: “There’s so much uncertainty which explains why so many people –”But she trailed off and burst into laughter before she could finish. “I’m not usually drinking martinis,” Kelly joked.

“Apparently, I don’t hold my liquor as well as I used to because after the show ended, I could barely spit out the ads.”“I’ve never done the ads after a martini,” she joked.“Maybe I have and I just don’t remember.”Kelly said her team thought the outtakes were “so worthwhile that they made a cut of it” so she could “show you what it’s like to be visibly intoxicated.” ...
