A 17-year-old boy was shot in a broad-daylight burst of violence on Thanksgiving Day, cops said. The teen was blasted in the left leg around 11:15 a.m.on East 153rd Street near Courtlandt Avenue, on the grounds of NYCHA’s Melrose Houses, police said. He was taken to Lincoln Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition. The motive for the shooting was unclear Friday, and no suspect information was available. The incident came a day after a 15-year-old gunman fatally shot 29-year-old Jerron Grant near East 161st Street and Morris Avenue, also in the Bronx, cops said. Officers on patrol saw the teenager allegedly draw a gun and fire multiple shots at Grant, police said.Grant was shot once in the chest, according to cops, with the teen suspect fleeing the scene.But the officers chased the teen and arrested him several blocks away.
