“Vanderpump Rules” is in Ariana Madix’s rearview mirror — but one question lingers … will she ever return to reality TV? Madix, 39, spoke to The Post at TheWrap’s Power Women Summit 2024 in Beverly Hills on Tuesday.She discussed the types of projects she’d be open to in the future — and those she wouldn’t consider — following the announcement that she and the rest of the cast of “Vanderpump Rules” will not be returning for the show’s next season.Bravo, the network behind the reality TV juggernaut, announced that Season 12 of “VPR” will star Lisa Vanderpump and a new group of “close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors.”For Madix, the news was not a surprise.“I had been in conversations for quite some time, you know, behind the scenes about what that would potentially be,” the “Chicago” star told The Post.
“I’m just, I’m happy that it’s out there.So, yeah, I feel good.”When asked whether she’d ever return to reality TV or be on a dating show like “The Bachelorette,” Madix chuckled, replying, “Am I hosting?” When pressed on if she’d ever agree to be the Bachelorette and not just MC the show, the “Love Island USA” host said, “Oh, no, absolutely not.”“I’ll host it,” she explained.
Madix made it clear she does not want to be part of any reality TV storyline.“It’s not about me,” she shared.Madix also offered advice to the reboot cast of “Vanderpump Rules.”“I would say this sounds cliché, but be yourself.
